Antonio Caballero

Contemporary Composer, Music Teacher

Contemporary composer Antonio Caballero performs and teaches music in beautiful Marquette, MI. His work is inspired by the natural world, as well as our interactions within it and with one another. In addition to his composing, he is active with writing, various art forms, and keeps busy by hiking. Antonio can often be found in the woods around his home with a fishing pole, pair of binoculars, and a book. Composing in the wilderness is one of his favorite pastimes, and he will often go for extended trips alone into the woods to work and think about music.

The End of an Era

I can't deny that my arms are hurting. It pains me so much emotionally to admit this, but my tendonitis is flaring up again. It's something I had to deal with during high school, and I was in physical therapy for my arms for several years before college. When in college, I took extra care to warm up and stretch for 15+ minutes before practicing, and I haven't been on that recently. If you have stuck around this long, thank you so much. I have enjoyed making sounds for this long, and posting every day. This will not be the end of me posting videos for sure, but a small break is required for me to gather my senses. If you have been a part of this journey thus far, thank you so much. I will see you all soon.
